Food Poisoning

Food poisoning is caused by eating food which has been contaminated by harmful bacteria, poisonous substances or viruses.

If you think you are suffering from food poisoning it is important to visit your doctor and submit a stool sample and alert your local environmental health department. If you are a food handler it is important to inform your employer as they will asses whether you are fit to work.
