Welcome to Westminster council Food Team's webpage which aims to promote and educate you on food safety issues.
It is our aim to ensure that food and drink sold in Westminster is clean and safe to consume.
To achieve this the Food Team carry out a wide range of duties to safeguard the public health of all the people living in, or visiting, Westminster.
Training Courses
Westminster City Council offers a specialist training service which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and will help equip you and your team with the knowledge to protect your customers and your business. Health & Safety and Food Safety courses are delivered by professional practising Environmental Health Officers either at your premises or here within easy reach of transport networks at our offices in Victoria or Marylebone.
Additionally for those wishing to learn at their own pace within their premises, online courses are also available.

Pest Control Good Practice Agreement Awards
The Pest Control Good Practice Agreement is a pilot scheme supported by the British Pest Control Association (BPCA).
Scores on the Doors
Businesses with excellent standards of food hygiene will be awarded five stars ranging down to zero stars for those with very poor hygiene standards.
