We provide a comprehensive environmental health, trading standards and licensing service to residents, businesses and visitors to the City.

Our commercial teams ensure that food, entertainment and other businesses are well run and safe for the public. These services include food safety, health and safety, trading standards, licensing and pest control.

Our residential teams ensure that all private sector homes (not council homes) are fit to live in, in good repairs and pest free.

Our noise team operates 24 hours and 7 days a week responding to noise complaints from businesses and residential premises and providing an out of hour service to deal with any environmental health emergency.
