Renewable energy can help reduce the cost of your fuel bills. However, the payback period can be quite long and energy efficiency improvements should always be considered before fitting renewable energy.

There are two grants available to help fund the cost of solar hot water systems, the Government's Low Carbon Buildings Programme that offers a maximum £400 grant and Westminster City Council provides a further contribution through the Solar for London scheme.
