Marlborough Hill Campus Vision

The project vision below was endorsed by the Marlborough Hill Campus Project Board at its meeting on 14 July 2009.  In view of the recent changes in funding, it may be necessary to revise the project vision and this will be discussed with the Project Board at its meeting in September 2010.

The Marlborough Hill Campus Project will create a positive and supportive environment that will:

  • encourage students to reach their potential;
  • improve motivation, engagement and citizenship;
  • promote health awareness and social inclusion;
  • nurture a sense of community;
  • engage the wider community through the provision of high quality, accessible sports, arts and  education facilities;
  • provide an environmentally and economically sustainable facility, fit for the 21st century.

It will enable delivery of the aims of the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda and Westminster’s Children and Young People’s Plan through bringing together education, health, sport and leisure, arts, social and police services on one purpose-built campus.   These outcomes will be achieved through the commitment to partnership working between all schools and organisations within the project scope and the wider community and to new ways of thinking and working, necessary to fulfilling the bold aspirations of the Marlborough Hill Campus Project.
