About us
The Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme in Westminster is being delivered by a dedicated programme team working in partnership with stakeholders in schools and with the voluntary trustees who own five of the schools.
The Westminster BSF Team
| Mike More | Project Sponsor (WCC Chief Executive) |
| James Croft | BSF Commercial Manager |
| Paul Ainsworth | ICT Client Manager |
| Tristan Samuels | Client Construction Project Manager |
The BSF Strategic Board represents a main forum for consulting stakeholders on key strategic issues and discussing feedback on projects and progress toward achieving the programme's overall objectives. Its membership includes chairs of governing bodies from all schools involved in the programme, the nine headteadchers of the schools within the scope of the project, as well as representatives of the two Diocesan Boards and Foundation Trustees that own the voluntary aided secondary schools.
The Programme and the BSF schools have adopted six ambitions:
- success for students;
- improvements through E-learning and E-enabling;
- technical and vocational provision at 14-19;
- improving support for Special Educational Needs;
- improving behaviour, motivation and engagement;
- schools at the heart of communities.
