City of Westminster

School Admission Criteria for 2012/13 entry

If a school is oversubscribed, places are allocated in accordance with the school's published admission criteria (also known as admission policies or admission arrangements).

Following consultation, admission arrangements are set by the council for community schools and by school governing bodies for foundation and voluntary aided schools. The admission arrangements for Academies are set by their governing bodies in agreement with the Secretary of State and the local authority.

All the voluntary aided schools in the City of Westminster have religious affiliations, either Church of England or Roman Catholic, and this is reflected in each school's admission criteria.

You can download copies of the admission arrangements for individual schools by clicking on the links below. Paper copies can also be obtained direct from schools (for Academies, foundation schools and voluntary aided schools) or from the council's Admissions Team for community schools.
