School admissions

The School Admissions Team at Westminster City Council offers advice and assistance to parents, carers and schools, about all aspects of school admissions.

  • The team coordinates admissions to reception classes of Westminster primary schools and the transfer to secondary school admissions process as part of the Pan London Coordinated Admission System.

  • Westminster City Council is the admission authority for the community schools in Westminster and as part of this role; the admissions team administers the admissions to the eleven community primary schools for admission to reception class.

  • The team can also advise parents/carers seeking admission for their child(ren) to a Westminster school at other times, for instance if they have just move into the area. More information about 'in-year admissions'.
