Bessborough Street Nursery and Clinic

The newly refurbished Bessborough Centre in Pimlico, now houses the Bessborough Community Nursery, Children, Family and Wellbeing Services run by Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and the council Children's Services teams.

The £3.5m building and refurbishment project means that the new building has:

• a nursery with 50 childcare places (now located on the ground floor of the building)
• three new play areas
• direct access to a new garden
• a new sensory room
• the fully refurbished and renewed NHS children’s and family health clinic, now on the first floor
• the council's children and family services team, on the second and third floors. 

In addition, Westminster’s South Child Protection Team and South Locality Children’s Services team, who offer social work, school attendance and parenting support, are now also based in the Bessborough Centre, which is also a key site for health and childcare services from Westminster Children’s Centres. All of which means there’s just one hub for children’s and family services in the area.
