Early Years Services

Early Years services are delivered as part of Westminster's Children's Services.  We work closely with the Triborough Early Intervention and Workforce Development Service.  Our responsibilities include:

• Raising the quality across Early Years provision (in nursery, childminder and independent school settings).
  
  
• Ensuring the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including initiatives to improve outcomes at age 5.
  
  
• Leading on child poverty and employability initiatives.
  
  
• Providing information and guidance to parents and families about Westminster’s children’s services.
  
  
• Providing access to Children’s Centres to families across the city.
