Children and Young People's Plan

Welcome to Westminster's second Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP). The plan was developed by Westminster's Children's Trust Board which has responsibility for improving outcomes for children and young people locally.
Please click here to read Westminster's Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) for 2009-11.
Although the Plan is no longer statutory, it is a useful document which sets out clearly what, collectively as a Children's Trust partnership, we want to achieve and how we're going to achieve it. We have used the 5 national Every Child Matters outcomes for children and young people and identified six local priority areas for improvement for 2009-11.
As we embark on a tri-borough arrangement for Children's Services with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, we will be agreeing the future of our Children and Young People's Plan and our Children's Trust Board from 2012.
