New Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries
Publication of initial proposals
The Boundary Commission for England published initial proposals for new constituency boundaries in England on Tuesday 13 September 2011. This publication marked the start of a 12 week period of consultation on the initial proposals, ending on Monday 5 December 2011.

Secondary Consultation Period
The publication of the written representations and verbatim transcripts of the public hearings will start the statutory 'secondary consulation period', when individuals and organisations have an opportunity to submit to the Boundary Commission comments on the representations that have been made by others. The period of consultation starts at noon on 6 March 2012 and ends at noon on 3 April 2012. All representations made at the first stage can be viewed on the Boundary Commission's website at the weblink shown above.
