The Committee scrutinises work that falls within the portfolios of the Cabinet Member for Housing and Property and the aspects relating to community services within the portfolio of the Cabinet Member for Customer Services and Transformation. Key policy areas and programmes include:
- Housing management and City West Homes
- The Housing Options Service
- Housing Renewal Strategy
- Residential environmental health
- Ward Budgets
- Libraries and culture
Recent work has included looking at CityWest Repairs and maximising the housing supply.
