City Management and Transport
The Committee scrutinises a wide range of the Council’s key services that fall within the portfolios of the Cabinet Member for City Management and the Cabinet Member for Parking and Transport. Policy areas and programmes include:
- Waste collection and management
- Parking
- Street management including the Westminster Wardens
- CCTV
- Street cleaning
- Recycling
- Parks and open spaces
- Key utility providers in the city such as Thames Water and EdF
- Transportation commissioning
- Road safety

Task Groups
In the 2010-11 municipal year the committee undertook special task group investigations into parking policy and the Westminster Wardens service.
