Communications at Westminster City Council
Communications sits at the heart of Westminster Council: informing residents in plain language about the services the council offers and how to access them.
We achieve this through through proactive and strong media relations, with campaigns based on a clear model of research, objective-setting and evaluation to make sure we are obtaining as much value-for-money as possible.
The documents below explain how our communication works and how it is planned. The first is the council's Communications and Strategy plan for the 2013 - 14 financial year, which provides an overview of each campaign and the thinking behind them.
For reference, we have also included the corresponding plan from the last two years, an outline of our recommended approach to social marketing as well as the Reputation Guide issued by LGCommunications and relevant case-studies.
