Emergency service - for out of office hours

An emergency service (for example, for religious reasons) for the registration of deaths is available on Sundays and Bank Holidays between the hours of 9am and 10am.  The telephone number for this service is 020 7641 1310.

Marriage & Civil Partnership ceremonies

An advanced booking can be made for the attendance of a Superintendent Registrar and the Registrar at an approved venues on a Bank holiday.

You need to make an appointment if you wish to register a birth or death, to correct or re-register a birth, give notice of intention to marry/form a civil partnership or for Citizenship ceremonies/ Nationality Checking Service (NCS).

You do not need to make an appointment to obtain a copy of a certificate or enquiries relating to your forthcoming marriage/civil partnership.  Please note this ‘drop-in’ service applies Monday – to Friday only.

The nearest blue badge disabled parking bay to Westminster Council House is in Upper Montagu Street. The bay is situated to the side of the old Marylebone Library near the junction of Upper Montagu Street and Marylebone Road.
