City Council achieves ICCM Charter membership.
The City Council has adopted the Institute of Cemetery and Crematoria Membership and is a Charter Member of their Charter for the Bereaved. Under this there are two central promises which are as follows:
- To comply with the Charter Rights and National Standards
- To provide a service which meets the social, ethical and environmental needs of the community and offers choices which enable every individual to arrange a meaningful funeral
