Changes to the Special Events Service
As of 4 May 2010 we have changed our working model to improve customer experience and provide a more efficient service.
As part of this work we have introduced charging from 4 May 2010 for filming-related activities. The charge is based on the cost of time spent by the Special Events Group on filming-related activities and is in line with other London boroughs.
To improve customer service we have:
- redeveloped our website to make information clearer and easier to find
- developed and published new guidelines and policies for filming and events to make sure that everyone gets a consistent service
- built feedback groups using Westminster customers to keep us going in the right direction
- created an online payment system to speed up your experience
- created a pre-application availability checking process
