Special Events Fees and Park Rental
In order to balance the needs of event and film organisers with those of our residents and businesses, we ask you to pay towards recovering the costs of your event or shoot. This helps to avoid burdening our residents and businesses with the cost of supporting events and filming, while helping to provide a better service for you.
We only recover costs, which are calculated on the use of the Special Event Group’s time, unless you want to use one of the Council's assets, such as a park, office or school, in which case we may request a rental fee.
Details of our fees are available below. Important: fees are tiered and our application fee is non-refundable. Please make sure you have read and understood which fee will be applied to you, before you submit your Application Form.
Our fees have changed. We have recently written to all of our previous customers informing them of the changes, you can see a copy of that letter below, along with FAQs on the new fees and our updated Special Events Fees and Park Rental document.
If you are a charity or community group and feel unable to meet the lower tier fee introduced, we can offer you budgeting advice and support and you can apply for financial assistance from the council. For further information please contact us at email@example.com
