In order to balance the needs of event and film organisers with those of our residents and businesses, we ask you to pay towards recovering the costs of your event or shoot. This helps to avoid burdening our residents and businesses with the cost of supporting events and filming, while helping to provide a better service for you.

Charges

We only recover costs, which are calculated on the use of the Special Event Group’s time, unless you want to use one of the Council's assets, such as a park, office or school, in which case we may request a rental fee.

Our fees are available below, although activities which are non-commercial or that can prove a benefit to the community may be able to claim for a waiver to some or all fees. If you think you qualify for a waiver, you can apply  below after you submit your Application Form.
