Licensing Public Consultations

The Licensing Service from time to time will conduct public consultation to gain local residents and business views on policy, draft local legislation, new or amended registration schemes, byelaws, etc.

The Council's Licensing Policy (Licensing Act 2003) and Gambling Statement of Principles (Gambling Act 2005) last for a maximum of three years, but can be reviewed and revised by the authority at any time.  When the authority reviews these policies it will carry out public consultation on any revisions to seek the views of local residents, businesses, licensees, trade organisations and responsible authorities.  When the Licensing Authority produces its draft policies they will be available below.
