Licensing

Westminster City Council is responsible for granting and the enforcement of a large range of licences, permits, notices and permissions within the City of Westminster. These include licences for business premises and personal licences for individuals, street trading and gambling as well as a whole range of general licences including sex establishments, marriage venues, zoos and pet shops. You can apply and pay for the majority of these licences online.

When determining licence applications, we welcome comments from people living or running a business near the premises. You can access the licensing register and licensing news to keep up to date on all applications received, granted and refused.
