Sustainable Schools
There are many ways that schools in Westminster can become more sustainable. Schools can sign up to the Eco Schools programme - an international environmental award programme operating in 40 countries. So far, 18 schools in Westminster have achieved an Eco-School award in 2009. Click here to learn more.
There are other ways as well that schools in Westminster can improve their environmental performance. Our new Sustainable Schools website pages provides a gateway for students, teachers and headteachers alike with all the information they need to become sustainable, or make their sustainable school even better. These new pages feature information on the following topics:
- Funding for Schools Projects
- E-Bulletins
- Eco-Schools Programme
- Useful Links
- Events Listing
- News
- Energy Efficiency Programme
- Free Teaching Resources
- Schools Case Studies
