The Commission for Social Care Inspection awarded Westminster a top rating three stars after checking factors such as people's health and emotional well-being, quality of life and choice and control.

Westminster City Council and British Transport Police are today(27/11/08) launching their "Some things you only do when you're drunk" campaign to encourage people to think in advance about how they will get home from nights out during the festive season.

The 100,000 playground at St Stephen's Primary School can accommodate up to 100 children and boasts panoramic views of the capital.

Westminster’s car parks to get the easyJet treatment

Queensway car parkMotorists will soon be able to park for as little as 20p an hour in central London, thanks to budget-airline-style pricing being implemented in the heart of the capital.

From next month (1st December) easyJet-style parking, which charges drivers according to how full a car park is, will become a permanent feature in Westminster's Queensway car park opposite Hyde Park.
