The Mayfair and St James area of the city houses some of the finest shops and hotels in London. The area includes Regent Street, Bond Street, Park Lane and the Ritz Hotel. The key issues for the CivicWatch and police Safer Neighbourhoods teams are pickpocketing and begging. Rough sleepers in the area are signposted to building-based services and enforcement action is taken against those who behave anti-socially.
