Most activity in the Lancaster Gate CivicWatch / Safer Neighbourhoods area centres on or around the Queensway due to its many shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. With Whiteleys Shopping Centre and the Queen's Ice Bowl being particular popular. Bayswater Road and Westbourne Grove also offer many eating and drinking establishments as well as a variety of retail outlets. The area also attracts many tourists due great transport links, selection of hotels, and its proximity to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There are also a number of residents living in this area, including those living on the Hallfield Estate. The team will be focusing on many issues including residential burglary, noise and prostitution.
