The project ties in with the police Safer Neighbourhoods Team. The area is mainly residential with Harrow Road itself as a commercial centre. The team have focusing on drug abuse and other anti-social behaviour, particularly around the 'Prince of Wales' junction. Other current projects include tackling the problem of abandoned waste, residential burglary, street crime, drug disorder and planning ahead to keep the Notting Hill carnival from attracting anti-social behaviour.
