Queen's Park monthly reports

Regular projects
Each City Guardian within Queen's Park takes personal responsibility for a project that aims to improve the quality of life of residents within the area. These projects include:

Business Liaison - Augustine carries out regular business audits, mainly to gather intelligence on young people causing anti-social behaviour. The information is then passed on to partner agencies.

Community Projects - Massimo engages with the wider community to promote the service and assists with projects, presentations, surgeries and festivals in conjunction with neighbourhood groups.

Young People - Garfield is working on improving relationships with older young people in the area. He is working with the local youth groups to deter low level anti-social behaviour amongst young people.

Primary Schools – Gamal is responsible for liaising with local schools. He takes assemblies, giving presentations on how to be a good citizen and the consequences of anti-social behaviour, and getting involved with sports activities.

Elder Residents - Brian visits the elderly in sheltered accommodation and over 50s clubs. He helps them deal with any issues that arise and he passes any relevant information on to partner agencies.
