Lancaster Gate monthly reports

Regular projects
Each City Guardian within Lancaster Gate takes personal responsibility for a project that aims to improve the quality of life of residents within the area. These projects include:

Schools – Paul works closely with all the schools in the area, proactively encouraging pupils to behave better and think about the consequences of anti-social behaviour. He attends regular assemblies and shows a visible presence outside the school on a daily basis.

Audits – Kevin ensures that the lighting, graffiti and highways audits take place on a regular basis and that all the concerns are reported to partner agencies. He chases up outstanding works and keeps the team informed of progress.

Crime Prevention – Katherine is well versed on crime prevention techniques and ensures that the team have sufficient suppliers of all crime prevention materials. She also holds crime prevention events throughout the ward, encouraging the pupil to be more aware of their personal belongings.

Community – Pauline actively promotes the service and encourages closer working in the community. She regular attends meetings and facilitates partnership work with both individuals and groups.

Young People – Vincent promotes diversionary activities to young people who are involved in low level anti-social behaviour. He encourages them to attend sports sessions and to become involved in meaningful activities within the community.
