Church Street monthly reports 

Regular projects
Each City Guardian within Church Street takes personal responsibility for a project that aims to improve the quality of life of residents within the area. These projects include:

Community Football - Gustavo holds three football sessions a week for the young people in the area. He works with other partners and arranges football tournaments throughout the borough. This helps to deter anti-social behaviour and teach the young people to be more tolarent of each other.

Learning Disabilities - Pam assists young people, adults and the elderly who have learning disabilities. She signposts young people to groups who offer many opportunities to individuals to suit their needs and interests.

Bangladeshi Society - Jamal works closely with the Bangladeshi community within the area. He helps out with any areas of concern and is able to translate information, getting it to people who are often hard to reach.

Rough Sleepers - Claire deals with any rough sleeper or street drinker issues on a regular basis. She signposts the rough sleepers to Building Based Services in order to get them the help that they need and attends fortnightly briefing sessions to keep up to date with any issues that arise with partner agencies.

Youth Work - Vincent is able to engage with hard to reach young people with in the area. He is currently building a relationship with local youth groups and is working on starting a music project as a diversionary activity.
