Parliament Square byelaws

Parliament Square is situated in St James’s ward in the City of Westminster. In accordance with section 235 of the Local Government Act 1972, Westminster City Council has issued two byelaws for the good rule and government of the City of Westminster and for the prevention and suppression of nuisances.

This byelaw was introduced on 8 November 2001.

This byelaw was introduced in 2012. 

Byelaws to regulate tents and other structures and sleeping equipment in designated areas in the City of Westminster and to amend existing byelaws to enable seizure of noise equipment.
