Westminster Writers meet fortnightly on a Friday evening from 6.25pm (for 6.30pm) until 8.00pm at Marylebone Library (entrance Gloucester Place). Founded in 1996 and thus the longest-established of the writing groups in Westminster Libraries, since March 2006, its anniversary year, it has been run by Sally Crawford of Poets of London.
The group aims to provide a supportive and constructive workshop for work in progress and are currently in the early planning stage of a new collection ‘Writing Marylebone’. We are open to all those who live, work, study in or are visiting Westminster. The group’s 2007 collection, Writing on Dentistry, is available from the Library.
Just come along with a pen/pencil and notebook and a determination to write.
3, 17 and 31 October; 14 and 28 November; 12 December.
