The main Education collection is at Marylebone Information Service.
You can help yourself to information about a lifetime of educational opportunities - from nursery schools to adult education - as well as a wide range of books to help you plan your career and find a job.
The library's collection includes:
- Directories listing schools - both state and independent, primary and secondary
- Inspection reports for Westminster schools
- Advice for school students on which subjects to study and what decisions to make at various levels and ages
- Directories covering the wide choice of further, higher and post-graduate courses available and the institutions which offer them

- International guides to studying abroad
- Adult education opportunities - including evening classes, study holidays and open/distance courses
- A collection of Open University course books
- Financial information - grants, awards and sponsorship
- Guides to help you study, pass exams and survive student life
- Detailed careers guides - from accountancy to zoo keeping
- Access to Adult Directions Online, Careerscape and Careersmatch websites
- Books on job-hunting, writing a C.V. and going for interviews
- Job opportunities abroad and "gap year" advice
A smaller education collection is also available at Westminster Reference Library. Here you will find the major education directories and general career guides. More detailed careers information in the fields of business and the arts and performing arts is also available.
