Each session discusses our latest book or books, chosen in advance by the group.
The sessions are free, refreshments are provided and new members are always welcome.

Wild Swans is an award winning autobiography showcasing the lives of three generations of Chinese women. It demonstrates the differences in lifestyle and culture in China over the years while remaining eminently readable.
Future meetings
26 August – Two Caravans by Marina Lewycka
Written by the author of A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian, Two Caravans is a tale set around the lives of a group of migrant workers who pick strawberries in Kent.
30 September – Boy A by Jonathan Trigell
Boy A is an award-winning novel about a child criminal released into society as an adult. It has been released as a BAFTA winning film. The authour will be coming to Queen’s Park Library to discuss Boy A on 2 October
28 October – Atonement by Ian McEwan Atonement has been shortlisted and won a number of awards. It tells the tale of a woman who as a young girl does something that has tragic results and her attempt to seek redemption.
