Pimlico Book Club

The Book Awards Book Group has been replaced by the Pimlico Book Club which allows its members to choose what they want! It meets...

This group reads a book a month, it began with: Wide Sargasso Sea By Jean Rhys, then in November it continued by reading Things Fall Apart by Nigerian author Chinua Achebe. The group will next read The Heart of the Darkness by Joseph Conrad.

The group will then continue with the following titles...

  • The hearing trumpet by Leonora Carrington
  • Hundred years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

The sessions are free and refreshments are provided. New members are always welcome, so please just come along!
