Marylebone Information Service offers a comprehensive reference and information collection with a wide range of books, periodicals and electronic sources, including free access to the Internet, and a large reading area. Situated on the upper ground floor of Marylebone Library, it also holds key Health Information resources, a substantial number of Open University publications, and is the London Depository for Amnesty International Archives, with publications & annual reports back to 1962.
The library hosts an Exchange Group Centre that offers over 700 Learndirect courses (some free) ranging from computing to languages. In addition, every Tuesday afternoon there is a job-finding skills drop-in session.
Marylebone is also the home of the Sherlock Holmes Collection (but please telephone before visiting to ensure access).
