- many of our libraries have a range of titles available for reference use. Check the library catalogue for the titles you are looking for.
Computer Training
Many libraries offer brief Taster Sessions, and there are further training facilities in three of our libraries.
Computers for public use - with Internet access
There are computers available for public use available free at all our libraries, with Office software and Internet access. Printing is available for a charge. Scanning facilities are available at Pimlico Library and the Queen's Park Library Open Learning Centre. To find out about booking a session on a computer, call 020 7641 1300.
Exclusive websites
- a range of high-quality subscription-based information resources, including Britannica Online, Grove Art & Music, KnowUK & NewsUK; all are now available to library members at any time and from any Internet computer simply by typing in their library barcode number.

- our Internet directory containing links to our online subscriptions and free resources from the World Wide Web.
In-house specials
- subscription websites and information databases on subjects such as business and law which can be accessed from within our libraries.

Community Information database
- available in libraries and via the Internet, so you can find out about what's available in the libraries, or what's what in the local area wherever in Westminster you may be.
Silver Surfers
- regular sessions are offered both in Paddington Library and several other libraries across Westminster.
