Church Street LibraryChurch Street Library is to be found behind the very busy Church Street market, and is the focal point of the Church Street Estate. It is a bustling community library well used by the local residents, and includes a Learning Centre which holds computer training sessions.
There is a large and very active children's library, used by the local children both for leisure and for studies, including activities for the Under 5s, homework clubs, a children's reading group and events during the school holidays. 

The library also holds a monthly Readers' Group and several regular groups:
