Members of the Chatterbooks Reading Group at Queen’s Park Library shadowed the judging of the Kate Greenaway Medal. They read all the shortlisted books and studied the illustrations carefully, then chose their own winner.
Their reviews can be found on the official Carnegie and Kate Greenaway website, and they were also featured in the Rogues Gallery.
Some of the children from the Queen's Park group were lucky enough to be able to attend the award ceremony at the British Library to see Terry Pratchett and Chris Riddell presented with their medals. They also met the special guest Tony Hart!
