12 microfilm and 5 microfiche readers are available for public use. There are also two microfilm reader-printers and one microfiche reader-printer. A self-service photocopier is available although please note that, for conservation reasons, some items may not be photocopied.
Photographs of Westminster City Archives copyright material, as well as material which is out of copyright, can be supplied upon application. Photographs of material which is the copyright of other copyright holders can be supplied, provided written permission is first obtained. In both cases negatives will be retained by the Archives. Although material cannot be loaned to the public from the collections, some books held in the local studies collection may be available through the lending libraries within Westminster. Details can be found on the computer catalogue. available throughout Westminster Libraries and Archives and via this website. Westminster City Archives maintains a loan collection of slides and special arrangements can be made to loan material for exhibition purposes.
