  • Marylebone Information Service has recently invested in a text to speech scanner which is available for use within the library upon request.
  • Visually Impaired People (VIPs) can claim concessionary rates in libraries by completing a simple form. You can then receive free music loans, reservations, language lessons and talking books.
  • All the lending libraries in Westminster have collections of large print books and spoken word recordings.
  • Zoom Text software (Levels 1 & 2) that enlarges the computer screen, and can automatically read text of a bookable Internet & Microsoft office PC at Church Street Library, Marylebone Library, Victoria Library and Westminster Reference Library
  • Hand-held magnifiers are available at all our libraries.
  • There are closed-circuit television magnifiers at Marylebone Information Service,and Westminster Reference Library.
  • Westminster Libraries offers all library members who are blind or partially sighted, whether they have registered as such or not, free loans of spoken word and music recordings privileges on their library card, and can make reservations for large print books, spoken word and music recordings at no charge.
  • Registered Assistance dogs are welcome in all libraries.
