Central London is an area of extreme contrasts. On the one hand it is a world-class centre for business, technology, sports arts and leisure. On the other, it contains some of the most deprived communities in the UK north and south of the river. The Cross River Partnership (CRP) works to deliver projects that spread the benefits of tourism to bridge the social and physical divide between these extremes, creating conditions for economic development and job creation on both sides of the River. Working with members including Visit London and the local authorities, it is also uncovering the rich vein of culturally diverse tourism which runs through the city. The Partnership's projects include the 21st Century Golden Jubilee Bridges which link the West End to the South Bank.![]()
