Positive Futures

Positive Futures is a national partnership between Sport England, UK Anti-Drugs Co-ordination Unit and the Youth Justice Board.

The project aims to use sport to reduce anti-social behavior, crime and drug misuse among 10 - 19 year olds from selected and disadvantaged neighborhoods.

In Westminster the project targets the following wards: Harrow Road, Church Street, Millbank, Tachbrook, Queen's Park and Westbound.

The following initiatives are currently part of the Positive Futures project work in Westminster:

  • Urban Sports Programme
  • YOT sports reparation programme
  • Positive Activities for Young People (PAP)
  • Moped/ Go-ed CB training
  • Edutainment
  • Sports Vocational Programme
