Royal United Kingdom Beneficent Association
A national charity, Rukba helps older people to enjoy many more fulfilling years in their own homes by providing financial support. In many cases they step in with small grants or annuities to help older people stretch their pensions. With Rukba's support they can hold on to the independence that means so much. Westminster Advocacy Service for Senior Residents (WASSR)
This is an independent voluntary organisation which has been developed for older people aged 60 and over who are having difficulty in: standing up for their rights. obtaining the health care, social services or housing services that they need. making a complaint when these services are inadequate.

Pensions & Benefits Advice

Leisure and travel

The Freedom Pass means free travel on London's public transport for disabled, blind and older Londoners. The pass is paid for by your local council and it is available from your post office or town hall.
