Help us to put Children First in Westminster

undefined

We would like your help to improve services for children, young people and families in Westminster.

All of the professionals who help to improve children’s lives are involved in a six month review to redesign our services. The Government says that we have excellent services in Westminster, but we think there is still room to improve and prepare for the future. For instance:

  • We want professionals to work together more closely – so that services are better joined up
  •  We want the most disadvantaged children, young people and families in Westminster to have better lives
  • We want to improve the way that professionals and the community work together to deliver outcomes

In particular we are asking the following five questions, and will hold discussion groups with users and professionals over the next six months to ask:

  1. What do children, young people and their families need?
  2. How can we make best use of buildings and people in the community, as well as those owned by private and public organisations?
  3. What is working well and what can be improved?
  4. What innovative ideas we can test to improve outcomes in a big way?
  5. How we can improve the way that professionals work together, and work with the communities?

Please get in touch. We are asking for your help. If you have any ideas or want to help us redesign children, young people and family services then please email: children@westminster.gov.uk  or children@westminster-pct.nhs.uk
