What are they?
A range of day care services is available across Westminster. These provide a variety of activities from social and recreational activities through assistance with personal care to training and employment opportunities.

Westminster also supports some day centres across the city. You do not have to be referred to attend a day centre.

How do I get it?
In most cases you will need to have an assessment to use day care. If you would like to ask for an assessment of your needs, you need to contact the care management team in the area you live. They will discuss and assess with you whether day care can help to meet your needs.

Is there a charge
You don’t have to pay if you are assessed to attend day care, however you will have to pay for your lunch.
If you attend a day centre or drop in centre, you will usually have to pay for your lunch.
