Adaptations – an adaptation to your home may make it more accessible and enable you to carry out everyday activities independently.
Alternative Accommodation? – if you feel that your current home is not meeting your needs, you may want to explore the options for moving.
Living in your own or privately rented accommodation? - The Disabled Facilities Grant is available for a range of works needed to help a disabled person to remain living more independently in their home. There are also other housing grants available.
Occupational Therapy – occupational therapists promote independence through assessment and advice on daily activities, recommending where necessary, equipment or adaptations within the home.
