Advocacy

What is it?
There are occasions when people have a problem and don’t feel confident or able to sort it out or speak up for themselves. It can sometimes be very helpful to have someone to act on your behalf, and speak for you.
Advocacy is about assisting you to say what you want and to get the services and rights you are entitled to. Advocates work with you to achieve this.

How do I get it?
There are 2 organisations in Westminster that offer an advocacy service - one to those with a physical disability and one to those who are over 60.

Is there a charge?
You will not be charged for any assistance you receive from the Advocacy service.
