The best parties are those that everyone enjoys - from the guests to the neighbours.

Living in a city it is natural that you will sometimes hear your neighbour's parties.

However, if the noise is a constant problem or is affecting your day to day life, you may have cause for complaint.

• If you would like help and advice about noise or you want to report a party that is not happening now please report the problem online. Do not use this link for noise happening now.

If there is still a problem we could be serve those responsible for the noise with a legal notice under the Environmental Protection act 1990. This means that they could be fined up to £5,000 and have their equipment seized.
