Westminster Way - A Public Realm Manual for the City (Consultation Draft - April 2004). 

‘The Westminster Way’ is a street design manual that takes forward the key messages established in both the 1991 Westminster Street Furniture Manual and other published ‘Best Practice’ guidance.  Its aim is to provide simple and straightforward advice for all with an interest in the public realm.

The Westminster Way Manual is in the process of being updated and reviewed.  It will be a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) under the new Local Development Framework (LDF) system, and will be expanded to include all public realm design issues.
