Public Art

The City of Westminster is fortunate to boast a fantastic collection of contemporary art in the public realm. 

Public art brings a wide range of benefits to the whole community, from the economic benefits that high quality art brings to the developer, to the educational opportunities inherent both in the creation of and reflection upon public art.  Art can help in the process of regeneration, fostering social inclusion and community involvement.  Public art also contributes to the unique and distinctive streetscape of Westminster, enhancing the experience of simply being in a place.

Westminster has recently adopted a new Statues, Sculptures and Monuments SPG.
